Hanging Harman on his Gallows

HANGING HAMAN ON HIS GALLOWS

Study Text: Esther 7:9–10; Esther 9:25

Introduction:

There are enemies who don’t just fight you, they design traps specifically for your downfall.

Haman built gallows not just to oppose Mordecai, but to eliminate him permanently.

But hear this clearly:
Every gallows prepared for you shall become the execution ground of your enemies in Jesus name.

Esther 7:10 says:
“So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai…”

This is the mystery of divine reversal: evil returns to sender.
Tonight, every evil arrangement against your life shall backfire, in Jesus name.

We shall be discussing the topic under three subheadings:

1.  Satanic Conspiracy

2.  Supernatural Confrontation

3.  Strategic Collapse

1.  Satanic Conspiracy

Haman did not act randomly, he acted strategically.

The enemy often:

Plans secretly

Targets deliberately

Waits patiently

Strikes unexpectedly

In Psalm 37:12:
“The wicked plotteth against the just…”

Forms of Evil Gallows Today:

1.  Evil altars speaking against your destiny

2.  Manipulations in workplaces and families

3.  Envious attacks against progress

4.  Spiritual traps set through dreams and covenants

5.  Words spoken to limit or destroy

Haman built a 50-cubit gallows—an exaggerated structure—because the enemy often over-prepares against the righteous.

If there is no divine intervention, the enemy’s plan can appear unstoppable.

Prayer Point:
Every satanic conspiracy against my life, scatter by fire in Jesus name.

2.  Supernatural Confrontation

“Then said Harbonah… Behold also, the gallows…” (Esther 7:9)

At the right moment, God exposed Haman and reversed everything.

God specializes in:

1.  Exposing hidden enemies

2.  Interrupting evil plans

3.  Turning tables suddenly

In Isaiah 54:15:
“They shall surely gather… but not by me: whosoever shall gather against thee shall fall…”

What God Did:

He gave Esther favour

He revealed the hidden agenda

He caused the king to act instantly

He turned judgment against Haman

Biblical Pattern of Reversal:

1.  Daniel: accusers thrown into the lions’ den

2.  Joseph: brothers who sold him later bowed

3.  The cross: what was meant to kill Jesus became salvation for mankind

God does not just save—He reverses and vindicates.

Prophetic Declaration:
Every evil verdict over your life is overturned tonight in Jesus name.

3.  Strategic Collapse

“…they hanged Haman on the gallows…” (Esther 7:10)

The same instrument designed for destruction became the instrument of judgment.

This is divine justice:
The pit digger falls into his own pit

The trap setter is trapped

The oppressor becomes oppressed

In Psalm 7:15–16:
“He made a pit… and is fallen into the ditch which he made.”

God turns:
Curses into blessings

Attacks into advancement

Battles into breakthroughs

Why This Happens:
God defends His covenant people

God honours righteousness

God fights for those who trust Him

No weapon formed against you shall prosper—it will backfire.

Prophetic Declaration:
Every gallows prepared for you shall carry your enemies instead in Jesus name.

Conclusion:

Haman had:
Position, Influence, Strategy
Resources

But he lacked one thing—God on his side. And one man with God is greater than many enemies without Him.

Tonight:
Every hidden enemy will be exposed

Every evil plan will be reversed

Every trap will backfire
