DELIVERANCE THROUGH HIS DEATH Study Text: Hebrews 2:14–15; Colossians 2:14–15 Introduction: The death of Jesus Christ was not a tragedy, it was a strategic victory.  What looked like defeat was actually the greatest deliverance operation in history. Hebrews 2:14–15 says: “…that through death He might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; and deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.” At the cross, chains were broken, powers were defeated, and captives were set free.
