Welcome to February: Your Season of Double Portions:

Glory be to God for seeing us through the Month of January and for bringing us peacefully and joyfully into the second Month, may His name be praised and glorified forevermore.

This Month shall be a month of double portions for you in all areas of your life in Jesus name. It shall be double portions of glory, of honour, of grace, of promotion and of the anointing of the Holy Spirit after the order of Elisha in Jesus name. This is the Word of the Lord for you this Month:

2 Kings 2:9-13:

 And it came to pass, when they were gone over, that Elijah said unto Elisha, Ask what I shall do for thee, before I be taken away from thee.

 And Elisha said, I pray thee, let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me.

And he said, Thou hast asked a hard thing: nevertheless, if thou see me when I am taken from thee, it shall be so unto thee; but if not, it shall not be so.

And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.

And Elisha saw it, and he cried, My father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. And he saw him no more: and he took hold of his own clothes, and rent them in two pieces.

He took up also the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and went back, and stood by the bank of Jordan.

Elisha was used by God mightily, because he trusted God for a double portions of the anointing on Elijah and he received it on the platform of Mercy.  What of if he didn't desire it, and focus on God to see the performance without allowing distraction, he wouldn't have it.

It doesn’t matter how much glory, how much power, peace, joy or prosperity that surrounds you or is within reach. It doesn’t help you unless you desire it, and focus on God without wavering to see it performed.

You can’t just bury your head in the sand like an ostrich and keep complaining about the economy and everything around you and be expecting to experience the double portions of Blessings.  There is a lot of bad things happening in the world, but choose not to focus on the bad. Bury your head in the Word of God. Lift up your eyes to the hills where help comes from, and He will send help to you.

God is still in control and you will not go under (Psalms 24:1). We have an unshakable Kingdom, built upon an unshakable foundation, and ruled by an unshakable King. This is your time to shine (Isaiah 60:1). This is the time to stand up and stand out with the double portions of Blessings and Glory.

When Elisha picked up that mantle it meant: I’m stepping up. It meant I’ll pay the price. It meant I’ll live the life. It meant from this day I am who this mantle says I am.

Pick another level in your praise; in your faith; and in your consecration and see what God is set to do. Pick it up and it shall be well with you in Jesus name.

In this February 2025, for you and all your loved ones:

God the Protector, will protect you.

God the Almighty will hold you with His powerful hands. 

God the Warrior will fight all your battles.

God the Provider will provide for all your needs.

God the Healer will heal all your diseases.

God the Giver will bless you abundantly.

Indeed, God the Perfecter will perfect all things for you and wonderful testimonies shall fill your life this Month in Jesus name.
