Power for Living: Volume 7 Number 1

Unprecedented Favour of the Covenant Keeping God.

Focus Text: 2 Chronicles 6:14

“Lord, the God of Israel, there is no God like you in heaven or on earth: You who keep your covenant of love with your servants who continue wholeheartedly in your way”

The revelation that you have a covenant with God and that He is faithful to fulfill it, is the greatest revelation you can have. And until you settle that in your heart, you will never experience the full potential of God’s love, blessing, and favour that is available to you.

Our covenant is a covenant of love.
God’s blessing and favour in your life is the result of God fulfilling His covenant of love with you. Every time the favour of God reveals itself in your life, that is a token of God’s love for you.

The psalmist wrote, “The Lord is merciful and compassionate, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love. The Lord is good to everyone. He showers compassion on all his creation” (Psalm 145:8-9).

Why would God want to bless you? Why would God’s favour manifest in your life? Love! Because of God’s covenant of love with you. By the power of the Word of God, I declare that you have entered into a time of unprecedented favour, and you will be promoted and celebrated in all areas of your life in Jesus name.

God is a covenant keeping God, and He is going to pour out His favour on you and your family like never before. Everything the labour of many years can not deliver to you,  you shall have them by His favour of one day in Jesus name.

The psalmist wrote about it many, many years ago and said, “Thou shalt arise and have mercy upon Zion (The Church), for the time to favour her, yea the set time has come” (Psalm 102:13).
There are other translations that say “the appointed time” and also “the moment designated.”

Paul picked up on this and declared in his writings, “That in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace (favour) in his kindness toward us, through Christ Jesus” (Ephesians 2:7).

Now is the time for God to show the exceeding, immeasurable, limitless, surpassing riches of His favour. You need to be expectant and position yourself well to receive the fulfillment of His words and the performance of it in your life.
It is very true that  people in both the Old and New Testaments experienced God’s favour, but not like what is headed our way. God is always increasing. That is His nature. The prophet Haggai declared, “The glory of this latter house shall be greater than that of the former said the Lord of hosts…” (Haggai 2:9).

That is just the way God works. He never does less from one generation to another, He does more and more per time and season.

Scripture tells us in Psalm 115:14, “The Lord shall increase you more and more…” The Bible says of Job, “So the Lord blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning…” (Job 42:12).

I want you to be encouraged in the Lord and in the power of His Words: Your best days are just ahead. You are headed for more of God’s favour than you have ever experienced before.

Paul described this by saying, “Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]” (Ephesians 3:20, AMP).

This  simply means: Don't limit God, dream big, ask big, and He will give bigger to you. Isn’t that exactly how our God is:  He is the God of more than enough.

If you will only receive His words and believe it,  the favour that is coming your way as we are moving to the end of this  year is beyond anything you have ever seen before. This unprecedented favour is going to shake some things loose that Satan has been holding back from you, and he will not be able to do anything about it. His favour is promoting you, His favour is announcing you, His favour is making a way for you in all areas of life, and so shall it be in Jesus name.

Prayers:

1.  Worship and praise the Lord, for He is a faithful and covenant keeping God.

2.  Receive and believe His Words over you and your family and ask Him for the performance by the power of His name.
